A New Level of Recovery & Support at Rebecca Caulfield Eventing- BEMER

I’m excited to share a new addition to Rebecca Caulfield Eventing at Triple Creek Ranch: BEMER therapy with leg cuffs, now available as an optional recovery and performance add-on for our community.

This is an investment I chose to make very intentionally. As our horses progress in their work—whether they’re in full training, competing regularly, or simply maintaining fitness—recovery, circulation, and long-term soundness become just as important as the work itself. BEMER is a tool that supports all three.

What Is BEMER Therapy?

BEMER therapy uses a low-frequency pulsed electromagnetic field designed to support microcirculation—the movement of blood through the body’s smallest vessels. These tiny vessels are responsible for delivering oxygen and nutrients to tissues and for removing metabolic waste.

When microcirculation is functioning optimally, the body is better equipped to:

  • Recover between rides

  • Support muscle function

  • Reduce stiffness and fatigue

  • Maintain comfort and overall well-being

In practical terms for horses, this means feeling better between work sessions, recovering more efficiently, and supporting longevity over time.

BEMER is widely used in both human and equine performance programs and is valued as a supportive, non-invasive recovery tool that fits seamlessly into a thoughtful conditioning plan.

Why This Matters in a Training Program

As horses advance in their training, consistency becomes key—but consistency is only possible when horses are supported properly between rides. Recovery tools like BEMER allow us to:

  • Be proactive instead of reactive

  • Support horses in consistent work schedules

  • Help manage the cumulative demands of training and competition

  • Encourage long-term soundness and comfort

At Rebecca Caulfield Eventing, BEMER will be offered as a structured service, not a casual add-on. For horses in training, it can be intentionally integrated into conditioning and recovery plans, complementing their workload rather than replacing good horsemanship, fitness, and management.

How BEMER Is Offered at Triple Creek Ranch

BEMER sessions are:

  • Staff administered to ensure correct use and consistency

  • Scheduled, not on-demand

  • Designed to fit into the rhythm of each horse’s work and care

Horses in training receive priority access, as the greatest benefit comes from consistent, program-based use alongside regular work. Boarders also have access through scheduled sessions as part of their horse’s overall care plan.

Most sessions last 15–20 minutes and are calm, straightforward, and easy for horses to tolerate.

Is BEMER Right for Your Horse?

BEMER is commonly used for:

  • Horses in consistent training

  • Performance and competition horses

  • Horses needing additional recovery support

  • Horses where longevity and comfort are top priorities

If you’re unsure whether it’s a good fit, I’m always happy to talk through your horse’s workload, goals, and needs to see whether this tool makes sense.
